Tourney letter states Valve's presence at gamecom is for DotA2

It looks as though Valve's presence at gamescom next month is so the developer can show off DotA2, as well as hold an on-site tournament for professional DotA players, if a letter sent to the website DOTA-Two is any indication.

Also, a source close to GosuGamer has told the site that the tournament features eight European Teams and six Asian Teams.

Each player will supposedly be handed beta keys for DotA2, and all travel expenses to Germanyand gamescom paid for by Valve. The Tournament also has a 5-digit dollar prize pool.

It is known that Valve will be at gamescom, showing an "unnamed strategy game," per the official gamescom site.

We'll send a mail, but usually Valve keeps its lips shut until it is ready to talk.

Thanks, Gamefront.
