EDF: Insect Armageddon out this week – HD look with VO
Earth Defence Force: Insect Armageddon hits Europe on Friday for 360 and PS3. It costs less than £25. Watch the video after the break. You may decide you wish to buy it after doing so.

The movie’s an HD edit of the first hour-ish of single-play, but there’s three-player online co-op, a six-player Survival mode and two-way split-screen as well.
It’s a sci-fi TPS in which you shoot ants. And spiders. And robots. You level up soldiers and get new guns. You can shoot trees, too.
Insect Armaggedon is developed by Vicious Cycle as a sequel to Sandlot’s EDF 2017, which released in 2006 in Japan and 2007 in the west. The original Earth Defence Force was a 2005 PS2 game, again by Sandlot, that made it west in 2007.
Take a look. It’s fun.

I didn’t know that.
The game really is alright, from what I saw. No idea how long it is, though.

Huge scale, mindless fun shooting giant insects, and £25 new…

The devs are heavily invested in the community. They have been active over a month on gamefaqs/gamespot and are posting on various topics on a daily basis in a fairly unfiltered manner on both the xbox and ps3 boards; it’s pretty nice.

Great Mindless B Movie Game! I have been playing it for a couple of weeks, since it came out Early here in the US. There are 15 missions, but you can’t unlock everything in one play through. Classic Split Screen Co-op that the Wife can grab a controller and help unlock weapons and abilities. AI controlled Sidekicks on SP are freaking Hilarious the way they tuck and roll and the crazy things they say like, ” Hey I once saw this in a game I played.” LOL
