Nintendo Video launching in Japan tomorrow, US later this summer

Nintendo Video for 3DS is set to launch in Japan tomorrow, which will offer 2D and 3D content Nintendo recommends to users.

This service is not to be confused with Spot TV, which contains original 3D video content from Fuji TV and Nippon TV through Spot Pass.

Already out in Europe, NOA has told Joystiq the Nintendo Video service will launch in the US later this summer.

The firm also wanted to remind folks that NOA Netflix members with unlimited plans, will be able download a free Netflix application onto 3DS systems soon, which will allow them to watch TV and movies through the service at no extra cost.

Thanks, Andriasang.
