Report – Microsoft to launch Xbox Music this autumn
Microsoft’s to launch something called Xbox Music this autumn, according to a BusinessInsider report.

The news came out of a Microsoft partners event that took place earlier today.
CEO Steve Ballmer said that the service – which we assume will probably replace Zune – would contain 11 million songs, and that it will have Kinect support via voice recognition.
Zune Music Marketplace was introduced last year for 360.

Music on the TV?
… Why the fuck would you ever do that?
This has to be some kind of old project that they intended for the Zune, and are just trying to salvage any way they can.

One thing that will make my PC complete if Epic Games will say: Gears Of War 2-3 is coming to PC.
I can buy Xbox 360, but after this E3 i see Zero points for that because:
1) Kinect for retards and everything they showed sucks ass.
2) No GameZ (Except for gears Of War 3…. Oh… Forza 4 maybe)
3) Online system that cost money for no reason at all
4) Shitty platform that cost too much for what it offers. In reality Xbox 360 should cost 39.99$
, but motherfucker… how i want that next Epic masterpiece.
Just one freakin fantastic game on that outdated piece of Dog **** with R500 and old multicore processor.
for that money i’d rather buy some peripheral for my PC. I have money, i just don’t see this box worth of something. It’s useless after 1-2 games to be honest. After this generation it will be a useless TRASH. It’s actually is a trash already.
@2, when it was the era of Age Of Empires II and etc.

Microsoft is trying to have as many platforms as possible and charge for everything, but the console that runs them is worse compared to Sony’s. xbox live fee, video marketplace, avatar marketplace (seriously..), addon marketplace, music marketplace and im sure there are many more.
im currently selling my 360 because there is no reason to still own it. there was a time when it looked like the 360 had an advantage over the ps 3 in terms of exclusive titles. but now the ps 3 has more attractive exclusives and id rather keep the ps 3.
and please don’t make me change batteries every 2 hours for my controller because you just want to sell hardware. and make at least a decent dashboard like sony and less flashy design in general. make a better d-pad and don’t release the next console too early with shitty parts that overheat.
maybe then ill be interested in the next box

It’s kind of a shame because it seemed like the 360 had the inside track to be the Gamer’s System in this generation. The Wii abandoned gamers off the blocks, the PS3 was a ridiculously expensive curiosity piece for fanboys, Japanophiles, and antisocial snobs.
Then for some reason Microsoft decided they missed their calling and wanted to be the Wii. It started with the NXE update, continued with the Kinect, and has been garnished throughout with touches like this. Throw in their love affair with microtransactions and, well, they better hope they go first next gen, too.

Always thought it was bizarre that Microsoft charges for pop promo videos on XBL. Have they just not seen Vidzone? Or Youtube?
