Friday shorts: Epic Mickey, Monolithsoft, GameCity, Resident Evil

  • Nintendo's to publish Disney Epic Mickey in Japan. It's releasing in the country on August 4.
  • Monolith Software's announced the opening of a new studio in Kyoto.
  • GameCity 6's main headliners will be From Dust's Eric Chahi to curate a day of the event, as well as Naughty Dog's Richard Lemarchand and thatgamecompany showing Uncharted 3 and Journey.

  • Due to both games getting a retail release in Japan, the digital versions of RE4 and Code Veronica X in the west will get 1000 GS. It normally would have to settle with 200 GS each if it was purely digital.
