First Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon reviews get decent scores

Wednesday, 6th July 2011 09:40 GMT By Johnny Cullen

The first reviews for Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon have gone live as of yesterday. The consensus so far for the B-movie Namco Bandai shooter seems to be is that it’s not as shit as you probably think it is. Get rounded-up on the scores so far after the break.

Game’s out in the UK for PS3 and 360 on July 22. It’s on a limited run, though, so you might want to pre-order if you fancy it.

I heard the EDF game before this was pretty good, if not a little buggy…

I loved the First EDF, and bought this one at $40 USA. It is a B Movie Ride, with all the crazy stunts and comments you get in a B Movie Ride. Yes I am addicted to bringing ever building down, yes I crack up and laugh when my AI controlled partners say crazy things, or do somersaults.

    I wouldn’t give it an 8, but a 6.9-7.5 would be a fair score.

It’s a game that requires no thinking, and is just plain fun when you don’t want to really concentrate.
