Ex-Eden devs form Blossom Minds

Ten ex-developers from Eden Games have formed Blossom Minds, a brand new studio that absolutely isn’t about the AAA.

The studio will look to create “original and quality content for the digital distribution market.”

“Blossom Minds is built on strong gameplay values, graphical skills and in-house state of the art technology, making smaller games but with big production polish,” it said.

“We are done with AAA titles; let us bring the OOOOOOH! instead.”

It comes as Eden went on strike for a day earlier this year after parent company Atari planned to cull 51 jobs from the studio, which released Test Drive Unlimited 2 back in February this year.

Good luck to them. With the Digital world growing, opportunities for good devs will certainly come and hopefully provide some stability. Who needs crappy publishers?!
