Ultimate Game Gear mod adds big screen, rechargeable batteries

This fantastic Game Gear mod may be about twenty years too late, but it’s amazing nonetheless. This is everything the original truly needed.

An intrepid do-it-yourself-er has taken it upon herself to renovate the Game Gear into a competent system. The best new inclusions are the five inch screen that was ripped out of a PlayStation.

Fans of the Game Gear will also laud the inclusion of rechargable internal batteries that would have saved gamers hundreds of dollars back in the day.

The mod also adds support for the Sega Master System. You can see the video of the modder curating this Frankenstein below.
