Battlefield Heroes getting classic map Wake Island

When discussing the all-time classic multiplayer maps, it’s impossible to ignore the Battlefield series’ Wake Island, a map seared into the mind of many a multiplayer gamer.

Now, on the occasion of the game’s second anniversary, EA has announced that the classic map will finally be making its way into Battlefield Heroes, their free-to-play comical version of the vaunted multiplayer series.

EA is also throwing a party of sorts and handing out goodie packs to everyone who logs in during the anniversary celebration. The pack includes Battlefield funds, some festive flares, and even a pass to play in your “birthday suit” for a week.

They also noted that the game is now fully translated in several new languages: French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Turkish and Russian.
