MS gets British table tennis Olympians to promote Kinect Sports, films it
Microsoft convinced Britain’s top two ranked female table tennis players, Kelly Sibley and Joanna Parker, to play Kinect Sports in the middle of the Rough Trade record store in East London this weekend, and got them both to say how great it all was and play with frying pans. There’s video proof after the break. They’re aiming to beat China in the Olympics next year: they are now obviously more likely to do so after hitting virtual balls instead of real ones.
See for yourself.

Quick quotes: EA Sports refuses to rule out MMA sequel
“A world where we’re not involved in fighting is a world I’d rather not think about. That said, what goes on in the sport, and what’s gone on between the UFC and Strikeforce, certainly has an impact on what we can do in the space. I am, other than [EA Sports MMA executive producer] Dale Jackson, probably the biggest MMA fan here. So it’s not a ‘no,’ but it’s also not a ‘yes’. “We’d love for there to be one because I’m a diehard fan of the sport. We have to figure out how to make that happen.” – EA Sports’ chief of development Andrew Wilson told Kotaku on the chances of an MMA sequel.
