Spider-Man: Edge of Time E3 trailer has jumping, whipping

Activision’s released the E3 trailer of Beenox’s Spider-Man: Edge of Time, showing the little webby chap leaping around punching things. The game’s all about time travel, and you’ll get to “be” various Spidey incarnations. It’s out this autumn. Watch the video below.

Operation Flashpoint: Red River heads to Valley of Death

Operation Flashpoint: Red River’s first DLC will be The Valley of Death Pack, out at the end of June for 360 (560 MSP), PC (560 MSP) and PS3 (£4.79 / $6.99 / €5.99). It’s to include “eight new Fireteam Engagements playable in single-player or in four player online co-op.” There’ll be two new Combat Sweep missions, two new CSAR missions, two new Last Stand missions and two new Rolling Thunder missions. Report – FIFA 12 down for September 30 UK launch

EA Sports is set to release FIFA 12 in the UK on September 30, according to an X360A report. A retail source of the site leaked a picture of a leaflet for the game, which showed the football series’ traditional autumn date. Expect more details on the game to arrive from EA during the publisher’s E3 presser tonight at 8.30pm BST.

Kinect Star Wars and Disneyland Adventures – in-game footage

French site BamarEnLive has posted in-game footage of Kinect Star Wars and the previously unannounced Disneyland Adventures being played by Kinect boss Kudo Tsunoda yesterday. The Star Wars footage shows Kudo using a lightsaber, dodging and jumping in combat, while the Disney game shows a kid walking round a themepark, hugging Mickey and doing all the stuff Disney likes to think kids do. Forbes: New God of War to be announced at Sony E3 presser

Forbes is reporting that a new God of War title will be announced at Sony’s press conference tomorrow morning. The report says that it’ll be a “new 3D adventure.” The last big GoW title was God of War III on PS3 last March from Sony Santa Monica, with the last in the series altogether being PSP title Ghost of Sparta from Ready at Dawn. Sony’s E3 event happens from 1.00am BST tomorrow morning.

Rumour: Project Café is called “Nintendo”

Game Informer’s rumouring that Project Café’s final name is “Nintendo,” following talk last night of the machine being called “Beem” or “Stream”. Very little is leaking about the console at the moment, although Nikkei apparently confirmed it’ll have a 6-inch touchscreen last week. Nintendo will announce the console in LA tomorrow.
