Bilson hints at new inSane stuff for VGAs

Danny Bilson, THQ core games boss, has just hinted that at new inSane stuff for the Video Game Awards at the end of the year. He made the remark in an interview with GameTrailers’ Geoff Keighley, leading into MS’s E3 press conference. inSane, a horror collaboration between Volition and director Guilliemero Del Toro, was announced at last year’s VGAs.

Check out 8-minutes of NeverDead footage

Eight minutes of gameplay footage from NeverDead has been posted, and it shows the game’s hero, Bryce Boltzmann, doing what he does best: killing nasties. Players will use Bryce’s immortality, thus the NeverDead moniker, as they fight demons in various ways – even by using body parts as weapons.  The Shinta Nojiri and Rebellion-developed titles is expected for a winter release in Japan on PS3 and Xbox 360. E3 Quick Shots – Spider-Man: Edge of Time screens show different Spideys

Activision and Beenox have sent over some Spider-Man: Edge of Time screens to go along with the trailer posted earlier. The shots show the roles of both classic, Amazing Spider-Man, and Spider-Man 209as he strives to “correct a timestream gone awry and prevent a catastrophic future brought on by the early and untimely death of Peter Parker.” The game’s set for a fall release.

Bioware and ME3 confirmed for Microsoft E3 presser

Bioware has confirmed that the studio will have a slot for Mass Effect 3 during Microsoft’s press conference later today. The news was confirmed by David Silverman, director of marketing at BioWare via a tweet: “Patiently sitting in the green room with a bunch of other companies waiting for our #msft press conference rehearsal to begin.#ME3″

We’ll be there, live from 5.00pm onwards, with the conference to start at 5.30pm BST.

European PSN raises £466,000 for Red Cross JP tsunami relief

Sony has announced that European PSN members managed to donate £466,000 for the Red Cross’s Japanese tsunami relief. In a letter on the EU PS Blog, the Red Cross thanked users for donating money – the exact sum being £466,465.60 – via the PlayStation Store to the charity following the terrible events in the country back in March.
