Far Cry 3: Watch the E3 demo here

Ubisoft’s released the first video of Far Cry 3, announced and shown for the first time during the Ubisoft press conference on Monday night. The video is the full demo of the game that was shown during the presser. You can find out the “definition of insanity” below.

Far Cry 3 launches in 2012 for PS3, 360 and PC from Ubisoft Montreal.

Mass Effect 3 gets live-action E3 trailer

EA’s released a live-action trailer for Mass Effect 3. The trailer lets you witness how the invasion of Earth began, and shows thousands of Reaper ships landing on the planet, triggering a full-fledged war. This is pretty much the same video that kicked off EA’s press conference on Monday evening, but there’s some extra bits as well. Watch it after the break. The BioWare RPG launches worldwide on March 6, 2012.

Devil’s Third is 30 percent finished, says Itagaki

Valhalla Game Studios’ Tomonobu Itagaki has confirmed to Famitsu at E3 that Devil’s Third is only 30 percent finished. He admitted there it was now at the point where quality was constantly being upped. The THQ-published actioner will be properly shown again at Tokyo Game Show in September.

Peace Walker HD gets videoed from E3 showfloor

CVG’s gone up with an off-screen video of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD being played on the showfloor at E3. Not much else to say to it other than it’s after the break.

Peace Walker HD will be included in the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, out this November on PS3 and 360. New shots of it are here.

Cleaver to be playable weapon in Gears of War 3

Lester Speight, who plays Cole in Gears of War 3, has confirmed on G4 that the cleaver which Locust butchers carry around is now a playable weapon in Gears of War 3. There’s also going to be a toy cleaver that’ll be introduced near the game’s launch.

Gears of War 3 releases worldwide on September 20 for Xbox 360. Thanks, Ripten.

Ninja Gaiden 3 to have mission, character DLC

Tecmo Koei’s announced plans on how DLC for Ninja Gaiden 3 will work. The game will receive new missions and new challenges to play, as well as be introduced to character that are included as downloadable content. Ninja Gaiden 3 launches next year for PS3, 360 and Wii U.
