DiRT 3 Monte Carlo DLC pack now available

Quick shots: Square goes a bit screen-mad on FFXIII-2
Square Enix has just unleashed a couple of battle screens for Final Fantasy XIII-2, running on the PS3 version. You’d have to be hard bitten to say it doesn’t look nice anyways. Get them all after the break. XIII-2′s out this December in Japan, and early next year for PS3 and 360 in the west.

Submissions open for Sega-sponsored EG Expo Indie Arcade
Eurogamer’s opened up submissions for this year’s Indie Arcade for the Eurogamer Expo. It’ll be free for anyone to submit or exhibit during the show in the arcade, which will this year be sponsored by Sega. Submissions are open until August 19. There’s more details here.
EG Expo takes place between September 22-25.

Limbo PS3 rated by Korean Ratings Board
The Korean Ratings Board has rated a PS3 version of 2010 indie love-in Limbo. Sony Computer Entertainment Korea is the one who mate the listing. Previously released on Xbox Live Arcade last summer, developer Playdead had said it was working on a new IP, but insisted that Limbo was an “exclusive for life” on XBLA. Then again, so was Braid and Castle Crashers and look what happened. Just saying.

EU PS Store update, June 29 – Gatling Gears, Take Two bonanza, UC3 beta
Sony’s gone live with what to expect from today’s EU PS store update. EA’s Gatling Gears is the headliner, priced at £7.99. There are also multiplayer demos for Homefront and Motorstorm: Apocalypse, as well as a proper blowout on DLC price reductions, including Take Two stuff like Mafia II, Borderlands and Grand Theft Auto IV. And, of course, there’s also the Uncharted 3 beta for the Plus lot. There’s more on what to expect today through here.

Develop to host PlayStation Vita talk
Develop organisers have announced this morning that Sony will be holding a talk at the event on PlayStation Vita. The talk, which will take place on July 20, will see head of developer services Kish Hirani and Sony’s Neil Brown give the first public talk of the handheld in the UK since its NGP-filled unveil in January and Vita unwrapping at E3 earlier this month.
Develop takes place between July 19-21 in Brighton.
