Rockstar Pass discount extended into next week
Rockstar’s announced that it’s extended the discount for its Rockstar Pass into next week. The deal will enable users who haven’t done so to buy the pass, which will allow you to download DLC of LA Noire for free instead of buying them separately without the pass, for a discounted price of $9.99 or 800 MS points. After this week, it’ll cost $12/960 MS points.

Bungie Mobile app now available
Bungie’s released an app known as Bungie Mobile which enables you to look up your stats for Halo Reach, as well as a news feed for the company. There’s also an online swag bag on offer. So go nuts for it here. For the non-iOS lot, it may not be exclusive for too long.

Rumour – Third Black Ops map pack detailed
A supposed GameStop leaflet is carrying what could be details for the third map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops, rumoured to be named Retaliation. Maps mentioned in the leaflet are Hangar 18, Hazard, Silo, Drive-In and a new zombies map simply known as just Zombies. We’ll get onto Activision about it.

Wii U blowout: Hardware pics, Activision’s Hirshberg, domains registered, more
Everything’s kicked off in regards to Wii U in the past 24 hours. Pictures of the system have released, Activision’s Eric Hirshberg is talking about support for the console, domains for stuff like Wii U Sports have been registered and tech rumours about its chip. It’s all go.

Gears of War 3 demoed live on Jimmy Fallon – watch now
Following a Modern Warfare 3 demo last night, Cliff Bleszinski appeared on Jimmy Fallon overnight to show off Gears of War 3. Watch after the break to see the E3 demo in action, hear Fallon annoyingly scream a lot and how they’re wrapping up the series like Lord of the Rings, but that “there might be a Hobbit.”
Gears of War 3 launches on September 20 worldwide for Xbox 360.

Child of Eden reviews go live ahead of Friday’s UK release
The review embargo for Child of Eden, Ubisoft and Q Entertainment’s Rez-like Kinect title, lifted yesterday. Consensus seems to be it’s pretty much great, so you might want to think about buying it.
