4J Studios handling Minecraft 360, confirms Notch
Notch has confirmed that 4J Studios will be developing the 360 version of Minecraft that was announced during E3. The developer created XBLA versions of Banjo Kazooie and Perfect Dark, as well as the PS3 version of Oblivion. Notch said 4J “have a very good mentality, and obviously are very talented.” Well done, chaps. Minecraft 360, with Kinect support, launches later this year.

Battlefield 3 demo shows live PS3 gameplay – watch it here
DICE gave a live demonstration of the PS3 version of Battefield 3 on Late Night with Jimmy Falon earlier tonight. The video contains the first ever console gameplay footage of the title outside of the engine segments hidden away in the Frostbite tech demo movie at E3. Battlefield 3 releases on October 25 in the US and October 28 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Watch the footage below.
