PlayDead’s Patti confirms Limbo for PS3 and Steam
Playdead CEO Dino Patti has confirmed to VG247 that Limbo will finally make its way to PS3 and PC.

The game was said to be an Xbox Live Arcade exclusive “for life,” but a KRB listing that showed up yesterday rated the game for PS3.
Patti’s confirmed to us that it will indeed release on the triple, but also on Steam as well.
“The rumors are true,” Patti told VG247. “LIMBO is in production for Steam and PSN, and is coming very soon.”
It follows the discovery of a registery code for a trailer for the game on Steam.
Other than confirmation, Patti would say much else, though.
“I can’t elaborate more at this moment. We have more details on it soon.”
That soon may just be next week: the PlayStation Blog’s US Twitter is reporting that deeds will arrive next week, with the game itself to launch on PSN next month.

i think this just proves to NEVER trust anything a developer says about exclusivity. Exclusive for life my arse -_-
they shouldn’t be able to lie like that tbh =/

@9 – they literally said that it was a 360 exclusive for life

Yeah, their situation may have changed since then though. Maybe bringing it to Steam and PS3 is now a viable business decision for them. It wouldn’t be lying if that were the case.

Very good. Limbo is awesome but not worth 1200MSP. Game-sharing on PSN eliminates that only reason not to buy this game.

@13 whats wrong with spending 15€/13£ on an outstanding game? The developers don’t work for free, you know.

You got me good
BUT: I already ordered Dirt3 (new) from amazon.co.uk this morning. And I also ordered a 2100 MSP card.
Thats why I could make this bold statement, knowing that I have a Clean slate.

LOL, i love how the psn gets the best xbox arcade exclusives while the psn retains its great exclusives. Braid, peggle, castle crashers, plants vs zombies now this. You cant deny that psn, a free service has the best games to choose from, adding fat princess, flower, warhawk , wipeout to the list etc.
