Ex-Kaos boss Votypka heads to Ubisoft Red Storm

The former head of Homefront developer Kaos Studios, David Votypka, has gone to Ubisoft.

Votypka, who was at Kaos in New York since 2005 as high as general manager, has become senior creative director at Ubisoft Red Storm as of earlier this month, according to his LinkedIn.

It isn’t mentioned what project he’s been attached to.

THQ closed Kaos a couple of weeks ago, as well as its UK studio in Warrington. Development on future Homefront titles will be at THQ Montreal.

Ubisoft Red Storm is working on Ghost Recon: Future Soldier for a March 2012 release.

Thanks, Gamerzines.

I wonder if Red Storm is doing the next Rainbow Six, or maybe just its multiplayer component like they’re doing with Ghost Recon…
