MS gets British table tennis Olympians to promote Kinect Sports, films it

Microsoft convinced Britain’s top two ranked female table tennis players, Kelly Sibley and Joanna Parker, to play Kinect Sports in the middle of the Rough Trade record store in East London this weekend, and got them both to say how great it all was and play with frying pans. There’s video proof after the break. They’re aiming to beat China in the Olympics next year: they are now obviously more likely to do so after hitting virtual balls instead of real ones.

See for yourself.

It looks like they tried Kinect Table Tennis and simply said “let’s go play the real thing, it’s way better”.

If they didn’t get paid for that, then both need better agents.
