Valve’s finally released the Meet the Medic video for the now free-to-play Team Fortress 2. It’s quite frankly, as you’d expect, amazing. Give it a watch below the break. The video comes with the medic part of the Uber update that’s now gone live. Full details at the TF2 website.

The videos are fantastic! Did they get help from studios such as Pixar?

Not sure, but it’s definitely high production.

No, it’s entirely Valve’s work. They’ve said before that the only way a Half-Life movie would get made is if they did it themselves, and now you can see why.

    ~ ~ ~ A LOVELETTER TO VALVE ~ ~ ~
Those Vids are unbelievably awesome and absolutely top notch shorts. The old ones where funny and all but this, made inhouse, is absolutely rivaling Pixar level. You Valve, are the best in your business.

The Source-engine might show its age but you put heart into it like the medic and show yourself bulletproof. You do what you want first and what you do, hasn’t happened before. Absolute unique experiences that is. After L4D 1&2 and Portal 1&2 you made this. Plus the Steam works. Now I see why it takes you so long for HL3.

And than you have developers bragging a hundred Vids about how S.M.A.R.T their game is and it turns out to be a bugfest, because no one takes their time like Valve does(Kaz Yamauchi doesn’t count), to mold out and refine original Characters and breathe new life into the gamingworld, while others do the copycats-dance(BiA4).

Go! Go! Über-Valve! I loved you before, now I’m a fan.

Why does Team Fortress 2 always reminds me of “The Incredibles”? lol

Okay…these are great. But honestly, Valve needs to stop working on crap that nobody is asking for and bring out Episode 3 or Half-Life 3 already. Its getting annoying and im almost at the point to where im going to completely forget that half-Life ever existed.
