Report - Xbox 360 moves 1.5 million LtD units in Japan

A report over on Japanese games site Wazap states that Xbox 360 has sold a total of 1.5 million units in the country.

In 2009, Xbox 360 hit the one million units sold mark, meaning since that time, it has moved an additional 500,000 units.

According to Media Create figures, as of the reporting week of June 6-12, 2011, units moved during the console's lifetime in Japan hit 1,477,629.

So, unless the console moved an additional 22,371 units since Sunday, the 1.5 million units sales figure is incorrect - or Media Create's LtD figures are a bit off.

We'll send Microsoft a mail, and if we don't hear back, we'll have to see what next week's Media Create sales state.
