“Big announcement” planned for Planetside Next at SOE Fan Faire
It looks as though the wait on a Planetside Next reveal is coming to an end, as SOE president John Smedley has said to expect an announcement of sorts at the company’s Fan Faire in July.
According to a tweet from Smedley: “For all you Planetside Next fans stay tuned for a big announcement at our upcoming Fan Faire in Vegas!”
Planetside Next is the sequel to 2003′s Planetside, SoE’s successful MMO shooter, and is expected later this year.
SOE Fan Faire takes place July 7-9 at Bally’s Las Vegas.

As long as it’s coming!
I probably shouldn’t get too excited given the time it’s been since the original, but that game was so far ahead of its time, it still hasn’t been outdone.
