Quick Quotes: Analyst Jesse Divnich voices his opinion on Wii U

Wednesday, 15th June 2011 17:28 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

“The feedback from the development and retail community has been universally positive. The only downside I foresee is the likelihood of AAA core ‘ports’ to the Wii U console. It would be great to see Battlefield and Assassin’s Creed on the Wii U, but let’s be honest, no core gamer is going to break habit and buy it for a Nintendo console. I can only hope Nintendo strongly advises (and aids) publishers in creating truly original content for the console.” – EEDAR’s Jesse Divnich (via Gamespot).

I’m going to buy one, but I foresee it becoming my ‘Nintendo machine’. You know, the machine you play Nintendo’s games on, and that’s it.

Unless the controller brings some legit benefits – something I can’t get from my 360/PS3 – I doubt I’ll buy multi-plat games for it.

If your den is close-ish to your bedroom, you can take the controller to you room and do shit with the Wii in your room.

(While other people use the TV for things other than the Wii.)

Still won’t buy any console with the Wii name attached to it. Still looks like a toy to me.
