LulzSec takes EVE servers offline again

LulzSec has once again meddled with EVE Online, causing its main server to be taken offline. As of a few moments ago, the servers were back up, and then down once more, so at best the ability to log into the game is at best fluctuating.

About 20 minutes ago, the group teased it would strike against EVE Online again when it tweeted: "The EVEning is approaching..."

The official website for the game was down for a few minutes as well, although Lulz claimed it was not responsible for that end of the outage.

Just a few moments ago the group tweeted: "Eve Online login servers are completely obliterated, looks like their website got knocked off via overkill...Eve website may or may not work off and on; we're not actually hitting it, their stuff is so crappy that it goes down with the logins."

Yesterday the group hit Minecraft, League of Legends, EVE Online and The Escapist with DDoS attacks.

As of now, the EVE Online website is back up, but Tranquility, the main game server is up and down sporadically.
