Kitase: Square being "very careful" in delivering western FF Type-0

Final Fantasy boss Yoshinori Kitase has casted a bit of an unknown in regards to the release of Final Fantasy Type-0 in the west, saying Square are being "very careful" in how it brings the game outside Japan..

Speaking to Gaming Union, he said "the situation" with PSP was "very different" here in the west than it was back in Japan, adding it would have to be "careful" in how it delivered the game.

"As you may know very well, with the PSP market, the situation is very different in Japan than outside of Japan," Kitase told the site at E3.

"We are having to be very very careful in how we decide what would be the best way to deliver the game to all the gamers."

He added: "At the moment I can't give you any confirmed decision, so please be patient for a little bit longer."

Type-0, nee Agito XIII, is due to release this summer for PSP in Japan, but hasn't been formally announced for the west. Hands-on for the game in the country will begin from next month.
