Assassin's Creed Special Edition detailed for UK

A GAME and gamestation UK-exclusive Special Edition of Assassin's Creed: Revelations has been announced.

This edition includes:

  • Standard box with exclusive artwork
  • Single player theme soundtrack
  • Ezio Ultimate Armor
  • 1 exclusive multiplayer character from Assassin's Creed Revelations
  • 1 multiplayer character from Assassin's Creed Brotherhood revamped in Constantinople theme

Although GAME's UK website has added the Special Edition on both consoles, it also hosts another, mysterious Collector's Edition on all three platforms.

This edition sets you back £5 more, and may turn out to be that leaked by the Australian UbiShop, or the Animus Edition exclusive to EB Games Australia. Expect both UK retailers to update their listings soon, as currently, neither shows anything but the standard edition directly from the store front.

In the US, Gamestop is upgrading pre-orders to a signature edition, which seems different again.

Assassin's Creed: Revelations concludes the story of Ezio Auditore ahead of Assassin's Creed 3, and is due on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November.
