New Minecraft update to feature "adventures"

Notch has said that the Minecraft 1.7 update will include "adventures," in an effort to "flesh out the game a bit, making it reward exploration and combat more." In addition, "assuming we like them in play testing, pistons are coming in 1.7." The game's next update will also see the start of Minecraft mod support, but there's no date on the release as yet.
