RAGE pushed into early October
The RAGE website is now carrying early October dates for both the US as well as the UK, having previously been due on the second week of September.

The id Software shooter is now due to release on October 4 in the US and October 7 in the UK, delaying the game by three weeks from its original September 13 and 16 dates.
It’ll now launch against Namco’s Dark Souls, Sony’s Twisted Metal and 2K’s The Darkness II on the same day.
There might some ‘rage’ at the delay (sorry), so read our impressions of it from Bethesda’s pre-E3 event in April.
Thanks, GAF.

@1 – i’d prefer it actually october is an even busier month than september already was. I think this game will get lost in the shuffle tbh

October is a pretty bad month to release Rage tbh. It’s currently on my watch list but not on my must buy list and with games like Uncharted 3 Skyrim MGS:HD and the Guild Wars2 beta on the horizon I’d rather save my money.

as long as they dont put it between BF3 and MW3, that would be suicide ^^

That’s pathetic, what was all the talk at E3 saying the game is already done. id needs to pull their heads out and launch this game.
