EA bringing Battlefield 3 to iOS
EA’s announced that an iOS version of Battlefield 3 will be released. The confirmation comes in a video of titles coming to iOS from EA, including Madden NFL 12, FIFA 12 and Need for Speed: The Run. Get the video below.

Actually it’s NOT BF3, but a dumbed down spin off: there’s no number on the logo displayed on the device, it’s just “Battlefield”.

Notice it says BATTLEFIELD, and no mention of the ’3′. I suspect it’ll be a standalone game based on the franchise.
That’s VERY different from having BF3 on iOS.

@1&2 Actually you should recognise the street (0:23) from the fault-line trailer of BF3. Yeah, its abstract and unoccupied, but anyhow…

oh crap, so i need a new iphone and not a new PC rig to play BF3!
@5 wouldnt it be awesome if they would still work on the 360 version so it looks almost the same as the PC version while running in 60 frames?
well, we can dream anyways ^^
