Here is an uncut version of the Wii U tech demo

An extended version of the tech demo showcasing the graphical capabilities of the Wii U, which Nintendo showed off during their presser last night, has made its way into Youtube.

The video contains nearly two more minutes of footage and it appears that the tech demo is in real-time as the guy is required to press B on the controller during certain sequences, which triggers off events such as the bird picking up the flower.

The extended demo further shows off the Wii U’s capabilities and looks absolutely stunning. However, bear in mind that tech demos often promise more than the console can actually deliver. Watch it below and witness the bird shapeshift into an eagle midway through the video.

Tech demos usually show what consoles (or hardware) can do. But it’s a different thing whether *games* can provide the same results. ;)

Anyway, that’s Unreal Engine for u. Apparently.

That’s not an Eagle. Less games and more Springwatch for you.

I hate the way the controller looks.
it looks like a toy man, one of those V-Tech computer machines for kids.

they should have made it more gadget looking like iPAD, even though they want to use a white colour.
i just don’t like the plastic look, feels cheap.

They need a slick, smooth edge design.
