Kinect Sports: Season Two announced, golf and skiing included

Monday, 6th June 2011 18:52 GMT By Johnny Cullen

Kinect Sports: Season Two has been announced at Microsoft’s E3 press conference, with several new sports announced for the game.

Six new sports will be included that weren’t in the first game, including darts, gold, skiing, baseball, tennis and american football.

It’ll feature gesture and voice control, with an example being using voice to change a club in golf.

Big Park Games, the lot behind Kinect Joyride, are the developers of this, which leads to questions on what Rare is doing.

Game’s out this holiday season for Xbox 360.

I hope they can keep up the incredibly high standard of presentation that Rare managed in Kinect Sports 1. It’s one of the slickest games out there, both in-game and in menus.

Joyride was technically a very slick game though, even if the actual gameplay was somewhat hollow.
