Apple set to hold WWDC keynote during MS E3 presser
Thought we’d forgotten? Nope. Apple’s set to take to the stage to deliver the keynote at its Worldwide Developers Conference in at the Moscone Center, San Francisco, the home of GDC.

Apple boss Steve Jobs is expected to break medical leave to deliver the speech, which will begin at 6.00pm BST, starting and – most likely – ending during MS’s E3 press conference.
We’re not covering it live – priorties, innit – but if anything does happen that’s gaming-related, we’ll be sure to stick it on the site as soon as we can.
Engadget are covering it live here.

Anyone else think that they purposely planned it during MS’s conference? Just so they can announce the ‘revolutionary’ iPhone 5 that will once again ‘change the way we…’ all while remaining virtually the same with some upgraded specs.

@1
I don’t think it’s so much a competition thing as it is a ‘We are Apple, we can do what the fuck we like’ thing.
I’d imagine they realised the press conference stage of their marketing strategy needed to be executed this week/today, and didn’t give a fuck that they’d collide with the Microsoft presser.

I´m much more interested in a new Halo game than in an iPhone 5 which ist still the same as 4 & 3.

The timing does seem strange, either they don’t care about E3 or I guess it’s just a big middle finger in general to all the companies at E3 seeing who can saturate the media with the most PR.
Apple with some justification do have the means but it depends on what they announce.

@3, i’m much more interested in new iPhone 5 (which i probably won’t buy) then a Halo game which is still the same like previous ones.
Seriously.
@1, it’s not just upgraded specs. It’s going to have new iOS and Cloud based iOS, so it’s huge.
Apple does everything right, while others with Xperia Play makes a disaster of big proportions with low specs and outdated touch screen.
