Journey gameplay video looks amazing
IGN’s gone up with a near-two minute video of Journey. The thatgamecompany explorer, which was first announced at E3 last year, shows some of the gameplay we seen during a demo in Cologne during gamescom last August. It looks breathtakingly stunning, and is definitely one to watch. Find the video below.
No date yet. Thanks, mathare92.

Mindblowing. Maybe PS3 as a system is old as my grandma…
Journey looks mindblowing. Perfect console experience.

Sand deformation has never looked so good.
Crazy as it may sound, it probably trumps even UC3 in this regard. Granted, we haven’t seen any desert gameplay for Uncharted 3.

Apparently 6 and 7 have no imagination which is not surprising.
On topic: It looks fantastic, really enjoyed Flower. This game seem to go one step further with its artistic style.

Imagination is certainly a necessity for anyone trying to figure out where the actual game is within all this artful unicorn-hugging bullshit. Both Flow and Flower were thin ideas with disproportionate levels of expense and polish lavished upon them. Let’s hope there is a game in there this time around.

Game go BOOM, you like.
Game go…. Not BOOM, you don’t like? – *In the Majin voice*
Call me crazy but games like these with an abstract style and story, stunning but unique visuals, and with a thoughtful premise to multiplayer will trump any other COD or the usual game that’s done done a thousand times before…
I know… Crazy ain’t I?
That last sentence might aswell as said “shrudbaobrutwyeuojdbd hlaun jd mzbcbbzn” would of made more sense to most gamers then.
Journey, for me that is, is the one game I’m looking forward to then anyother this year. Not to mention the newly announced HD collections of MGS, ZOE, ICO and SOTC.

@6 I double your sentiment. What the hell was that?! I live in the desert, so if I wanted to watch or play as characters walking in the desert, I’d just walk out the front door

Is this even a game….realy….?? what fucked up people would walk in the desert jumping like a homo all day trying to reach a stupid mountain with a shiny light on the top…..
You all need help….go to church

NICE GAME !! A New Concept that’s what gaming is all about !! New gaming ideas.
If you wanted textures and reality like characters action game, go watch an action movie it’s better and more fun !!

Personally, I think this game looks utterly beautiful. Other than inFamous 2 which is less than a week away, this is pretty much the only thing on PS3 I’m looking forward to. Can’t wait to get my hands on it.
@13 It says a great deal about your society and culture that your “solution” for people not being violent enough is to send them to church. Will the bible teach us a finer appreciation for Blowing Shit Up and PWNING N00BZ?
You appear to have completely misunderstood the basic principles behind entertainment, personal development, and religion, all at the same time. Congratulations.
I’m not a religious person myself, but Journey looks just about as close to a spiritual experience as I’ve seen yet in any form of entertainment. Certainly more so than a CoD scoreboard, surely?

This looks like a game i would get more entertainment from watching it being played than actually playing it myself, liked the video by the way it was nice and relaxing.

all the big mouths here talking as if they know game designing. Seriously what new game idea can you think off?
if it doesn’t look impressive to me or others so what?
many people probably have better game ideas than you, when you are making games its not all about ideas or creativity. The main problem lies down to “if” the idea can be created by the developers/programmers.
