Kojima's Fox Engine shown running in video interview

GameTrailers has posted a good look at Kojima's Fox Engine, the cross-platform tech Kojima Productions will use to power the company's new, unannounced title.

Kojima shows a logo for the engine and says work on the code began just after the release of MGS4. He says it's being made in response to the need to release global games across all formats.

The developer says he wants Fox to be "the best in the world".

The scenario shown in the interview is a jungle, with a Snake-like character running around. Kojima says what's seen is a "game," but is just being built for placeholder purposes. It's not a peak at the new title.

Konami confirmed the new game will run on Fox in its pre-E3 press conference last night. Get a full report on that here, and check out the video below for a look at the tech.
