RAGE’s Authority revealed in new gameplay footage

Id Software has lifted the veil on RAGE’s super-soldier antagonists, the Authority, ahead of a more complete E3 reveal.

Speaking to Gamespot, id’s Matt Hooper and Tim Willits dropped several teasing hints about the origins and intent of The Authority.

Players will be able to go hands-on at E3, with plenty of new content on show, including the powerful soldiers of the Authority.

RAGE is due on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September.

Saw a trailer for the game infront of The Hangover: Part II today; looks like Bethesda is going to push this hard.

Its ID it needs to be pushed. Carmack is a fucking genius there is a reason why Valve is using Source which is a derivative of the Quake Engine.

I can’t wait to play this game and try out its level editor.
