Atari financials show improved losses as it announces the divestment of Cryptic

Atari has announced its full year financials results for its FY11, and its find the firm net losses of €6.2 million, up from from a new loss of €19.4 million the prior year. The firm also announced that Cryptic Studios is in the process of being disposed of, as it is currently looking for a buyer.

Dead Island trailer features first in-game footage – see it now

Deep Silver’s just launched the first in-game teaser for Dead Island. The clip is more of a postcards on holiday affair this time round from the island resort of Banoi. It’s the taste for the main trailer at E3, apparently. And no, it’s not a sad soppy affair like last time. Watch the video below the break. The Techland zombie thriller is out later this year for PS3, 360 and PC.
