Survey Says: 63 million iOS users downloading over 5 million games per day

A March 2011 study conducted by Distimo and Newzoo, surveyed iOS users living in the US and six countries in Europe, and found that 63 million iOS users are downloading 5 million games on a daily basis.

Geralt has a bit of trouble with a troll in Witcher 2 DLC

CD Project Red has released the first bit of free DLC for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, and you can watch the video of it here. The DLC, released day and date with the game, is a side quest called Troll Trouble, and the troll shown in the video actually talks, unlike a lot of trolls who hit first and ask questions later. It looks as though “a very small number of Xbox 360 owners” are experiencing disc read errors when applying a mandatory firmware update, but according to Major Nelson, the issue has arisen from a previous firmware update, and not the system update currently in public beta which is scheduled to start rolling out tomorrow.

PAX Prime passes selling out

Penny Arcade’s said on Twitter that only 400 passes are available for the Friday of PAX Prime, with only “a battery” of Sunday passes left. It comes as three day-passes and Saturday passes have all been sold out. If you’re going, you can get whatever remaining amount of tickets there is left here.
