Hideo Kojima won’t be attending E3

Hideo Kojima’s revealed via a tweet that he won’t be attending E3 in person this year.

He also stated that he’s giving an interview to former 1UP editor Mark MacDonald as he won’t be at the show.

Obviously, this means the Metal Gear overlord won’t be making an appearance in either Microsoft’s or Sony’s press conferences.

However, don’t be heartbroken just yet: Konami’s holding a pre-E3 event on June 2 and a full show conference next week, and it’s been more or less confirmed that at least two new Kojima Production titles would be shown there.

Earlier today, Kojima announced that recording for his new title has begun.

Maybe he feels he want’s to host his own conference (June 2nd) to give away all of his announcements. I’m not mad, just show us some good shit Kojima.

he will probably be at the konami presser on the 2nd of june but i dnt no about the NGP title though because im sure sony want to reveal NGP real name before kojima is allowed to show off a tailer for his new game.. like at the end of the trailer it will show the NGP real name logo and we will not no it till the 7th for Sonys presser.

I imagine Kojima will at least be at the Konami presser, maybe he’ll stream in? Rising will still show – at the MS conference no doubt – and the main dev on that will show it off.
