Magic: The Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012, sequel to the 2009 release, is due on Wednesday. I hope you’ve … tapped your mana pool? Is that a thing?

Joystiq reports the new version will release on June 15 on the PlayStation Network, Steam, and Xbox Live, and will go for $10 or network equivalent.

Apparently, for a limited you’ll be able to write off to Wizards of the Coast with an in-game code and receive a free, limited edition Magic: The Gathering card in return.

Duels of the Planeswalkers hails from the indie Stainless Games, recently returned to public consciousness after talk of a revival of its Carmageddon series. The first outing was quite the success.

Now that the Tornado’s are done for the Night, Maybe I can get a few hours in on the Netbook before getting hit again…I am getting Shell-Shock Syndrome, from those BLASTING Sirens.

Maybe say, ” Hope you have a Big or Deep Mana Pool”…Tapping, I don’t know about that one…LOL

I love Magic The Gathering Game on XBLA and PSN. I am not HARD-CORE, like some of the MTG ppl out there, so I don’t really care about being able to make your own deck out of any card, like they are complaining about, but not allowing “Stacking” so ppl don’t run over NOOBS is fine with me, Maybe they could create a scoring ladder, and then that would allow for making your own decks!
