APB: Reloaded open beta launches

GamersFirst has launched the open beta for APB: Reloaded.

The beta will feature new weapons and items, a new skills rating system and more, as well as a new data centre to host the game on the US East Coast.

“From the start of the development of APB Reloaded last fall our focus has been to remove obstacles preventing players from having fun,” said GamersFirst CEO Bjorn Book-Larsson.

“While our development and design teams have done an amazing job improving driving, shooting, skill ratings, witnessing and other key elements of the game, I am also thrilled with the changes slated to be released during the latter part of open beta.”

Improvements that are coming for the beta include clan-based combat, more matchmaking improvements, new game modes, a new district and more.

I was in the closed beta. Last I checked there was still horrible lag, bad driving and shooting mechanics. Not much has changed since initial launch, believe you me.
