PSN: Kombat Pass not required to play Mortal Kombat this weekend

Warner has said that Mortal Kombat can play online through PSN this weekend without the need for Kombat Pass.

The game had been unplayble online due to the need to register the pass code.

Over on the official Facebook page, it states that "this is a temporary solution that will only be available while Playstation Store is unavailable."

Once the store goes back up - rumored for May 24 - users must enter their Kombat Pass code in order to play online or buy one from the store for $9.99.
