Ubisoft details some of the characters in Assassin’s Creed: Revelations

In a feature over on Game Informer, some of the multiplayer characters in Assassins Creed: Revelations have been detailed a bit.

According to the feature, Ubisoft plans to make the multiplayer experience a bit more interesting or rather “meaningful” than in Brotherhood, and includes: bombardier, guardian, sentinel, and the vanguard who all have a link to the single-player story.

Here’s a slight rundown, courtesy of Jpystiq:

  • Guardian – a member of the Templars called the “Guardian of Truth” whose role has not been revealed as of yet.
  • Sentinel – a former Assassins Guild member who, once a truce between the Ottoman Empire and the Assassins was reached, defected from the group. He is out for revenge as well, apparently.
  • Bombardier and Vanguard – Each harbors a penchant for Templar loyalty, but care for money and power quite a bit as well.

Each of these players will show up in the main campaign and as multiplayer characters.

You can read the full feature through the link.

Game’s out in November.

Should do some sort of siege/infiltration multiplayer. Could keep it interesting if they had AI fighting at the gates etc and say if you’re an assassin on the attack team you can help them get in etc. If you’re on the defender you could sneak around and use the enemies cannons on themselves. Could be quite cool if done right.

Having some actual, real combat in the MP would be good, running around after each other got old real quick. I can play tag in real life (well, it would be a bit odd these days), i’m not after that in my games.

@1 Now i like the sound of that. The current AC:B MP just doesn’t click for me, though its a nice try at something unique.
