Report - Modern Warfare 3 trailer to air during NBA Playoffs next week

The first full trailer for Modern Warfare 3 will be shown during the NBA Playoffs next Monday evening/Tuesday morning BST, according to GAF.

It reports that a teaser was shown earlier during game one of the western conference final between Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Mavericks during a commercial break in the third/fourth quarter.

The teaser shown during the game says the full trailer will air on May 23. That's this coming Monday.

It's not the first time a full trailer for a new Call of Duty title has debuted during the NBA Playoffs: both Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops have also aired first gameplay trailers in that time.

Following a big leak on the game last week, UK retailers have now started taking pre-orders for the shooter. It'll launch on PS3, 360 and Wii on November 8, although the date hasn't been formally confirmed by Activision as yet.
