EA wants your input to shape new Command & Conquer
It still hasn’t announced Command & Conquer 5, but Electronic Arts has started asking gamers (that’s you!) where the company should “improve” the franchise, fuelling the idea the next big RTS can’t be too far away.

A whole new section of the game’s forums has been dedicated to the cause, providing fans with enough room to grow their ideas into “something big”.
“The most discussed and loved ideas will be passed on to the developer team,” a statement reads. “So be sure to bring your idea onto our community table. Maybe it will be your idea, which changes everything!”
We’re guessing that this move is to avoid the sort of consumer backlash EA faced with the less-than-well-received Command & Conquer 4 – but we’re not quite sure what this feedback is actually for. Fingers crossed we’ll find out at E3!
Thanks, Video Games Blogger, for being (mostly) kidding about the Animal Crossing mashup.

Base building, micro-management, flanking, no unit cap, rage-quitting = loss. Oh and they can bring the different Generals back

Empire at War and Universe at War were pretty good. UAW had such diverse factions which made a nice change. Yes, their engine is a little clunky but its been a few years now. With some major investment, they could certainly make a good RTS.
Empire at War was kinda dumbed down by LucasArts, as the modders found lots of interesting bits locked up, that were removed from the game
