Witcher II launches today: watch Namco Bandai’s UK PR team unbox it

After a while in development, CD Projekt Red launches The Witcher II today worldwide at retail and download. We haven’t see any reviews for the game, but we think there’s an embargo for today. We’ll look into that now. In the meantime, there’s a video after the break of Namco Bandai’s UK PR team unboxing the premium edition of the game and its contents.

What I heard is that it’s not so much an embargo holding the reviews back as the fact that most websites only received their copies one or two days ago.

I just got my special edition through the post and oh-my-god is it beautiful. Not enough developers do this for their games these days. The quality of the box is just so much nicer than your standard special editions. I cannot wait to sink my teeth into this game now. See you next week :P .

I preordered the game on GOG ten days ago but unfortunately my pc is a crap(fortunately maybe!the exams are coming!!).I love the first game and to me,The Witcher is one of the 3 best western RPGs ever made.
finally there’s a good reason for upgrading my gear and I’ll do it as soon as possible probably in july.
