New Bungie trademark mentions "Mobile Phone support"

Bungie has filed a new software trademark titled, "Crimson." The goods listed under the filing include game software that is "downloadable from a global computer network" and software "for use on mobile and celluar phones."

Interestingly, the filing mentions mobile phone functionality. This could suggest that Bungie might also be developing its new Acti-published IP for mobile phones in some form.

Earlier in the week, news of Bungie filing a trademark and logo for Bungie Aerospace Corporation with the Washington Secretary of State website as well as with the state of Delaware had emerged.

The “coming soon” website for Bungie Aerospace popped up on the net over a year ago, and not much has been heard about it ever since.

The studio has also been on a trademark and domain registration frenzy this year.

However, don't let your hopes float about: Bungie has ruled out an E3 presence this year.

Thanks, GameSpot.
