Akiba's Trip trailer lays the smackdown

Acquire has put out a new gameplay trailer for its dramatic departure from historical action, Akiba's Trip. Watch our hero be beat up by a variety of object-wielding women.

Acquire is best known in the West for its Tenchu and Way of the Samurai series, but things take a modern turn in Akiba's Trip, which is set in Japan's geek-mecca, Akihabara. Oh, and there's vampires, or something.

The game is due in Japan on PSP on May 19. Marvel at its madness below, in Japanese - if we can have The World Ends With You, surely we can have this.
