Sony led Japanese market in 2010, besting both Wii and DS
Famitsu’s publisher Enterbrain has done some figuring, and its numbers conclude that Sony hardware outsold Nintendo in Japan during 2010. According to the firm, not only did PS3 surpass Wii in sales, but PSP came out ahead of DS as well.

Report: Videogames outselling other forms of physical and digital entertainment in the UK
The Entertainment Retailers Association has been busy crunching some numbers related to the entertainment industry in the UK, and after the smoke cleared from its calculators, it found that in 2010, videogames outsold music and DVDs considerably.

Cave Story 3D coming to Europe this summer
NIS America has announced it’s to bring over Cave Story 3D to Europe this summer for 3DS. An exact date wasn’t confirmed, though. It comes as a US release date was announced yesterday as June 28. The platformer launched on PC back in 2004 before making its way to WiiWare and DSiWare, the latter version having not launched in Europe.

Nintendo: 3DS UK launch sales beat both Wii and DS

Duke Nukem Forever: Jetpack and feces-throwing videos, Capture the Babe art released
Concept art created by Piranha Games, the studio behind much of the multiplayer in Duke Nukem Forever, has been released. It shows some of the babes you will be stealing from your opposition’s camp in the Capture the Babe multiplayer mode. There’s also a video below of Duke walking around with the equivalent of Mr. Hankey and tossing it at walls and the like. It doesn’t wear a Santa hat though. To save a bit of face, there’s a jetpack video below as well.

Resistance 3 multiplay footage gets out from Insomniac community event
Someone’s managed to bust out Resistance 3 multiplayer gameplay footage from this week’s Insomniac community event in the US. It’s five minutes of video from the shooter, and you can get it after the break.
Resistance 3 launches in the US on September 6.
