Quick shots: Prey 2 gets first direct-feed screen, art

Next Sonic game trailered, 360 and PS3 release this year
Sega’s posted the first video of the next Sonic game in its Facebook page. The trailer shows an old Sonic racing against a new Sonic, and confirms the game will ship this year as part of the mascot’s 20th birthday celebrations.

Monster Hunter Diary G announced in Japan
Capcom’s lifted the lid on Monster Hunter Diary G, a spin-off that lets you assume the role of cat-like characters in the franchise, the Felyne. It’ll include new elements added from Monster Hunter Portable 3. There’s more details of the game over at Andriasang. Get the announcement trailer below. It’s out for PSP in Japan this summer.

Dance Central to get Japanese release in June
Microsoft Japan has announced it’s to bring Kinect dancer Dance Central to the country from June 2, priced at ¥5,880. The Harmonix title, which released in the west alongside the motion controller last November, will also come with codes in its initial run to get free downloadable content. Without a code, it’ll be 240 MS points if you want the content.

Mojang looking for alpha testers for Scrolls
Mojang’s looking for alpha testers for its next game, Scrolls. According to D’Toid, there’s an option to sign-up for early play when you add you name for the title’s newsletter. This, apparently, wasn’t offered when the game was announced at GDC last month.
