Brink playable at UK insomnia42 festival this weekend
Splash Damage super-shooter Brink will be playable at this weekend’s insomnia42 event in Newbury, UK. From 4.00pm BST on Saturday.
Brink releases for 360, PS3 and PC on May 13 in Europe. Check out insomnia42′s official site here, and take a look at the heap of gameplay footage we brought back from Bethesda’s pre-E3 event in Utah earlier this month.

Puyo Puyo!! to mark puzzler’s 20th birthday
Sega’s said it’s to mark Puyo Puyo’s 20th anniversary this year with the release of Puyo Puyo!! for DS release on July 14. The game will be released in standard form for ¥5,040 and as part of a special ¥8,379 anniversary box. The CE contains 30 character key holders, a strap, and a special box. More on Andriasang.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior PS3 trailer is heavy on the headshots
The PS3 version of Sniper: Ghost Warrior may still be coming “soon,” but at least there’s a video of it below with people’s heads exploding. The 360 and PC versions of the City Interactive shooter managed 1 million units between June 2010 and February this year, so keep an eye on it, PS3-only super warriors. Check it out.

3DS edges over PSP in Japanese hardware charts
4Gamer‘s quoting Media Creat figures as saying 3DS was ahead of PSP in Japanese sales for the week ending April 17. The Nintendo handheld, which released on February 26 in Japan, trailed behind the Sony machine for the previous two weeks. Media Create hasn’t actually updated its site yet, but you can see the supposed figures below. Quick shots: Shadows of the Damned gets freaky nasty
EA’s chosen to drop these latest Shadows of the Damned screens just before easter, and we’re lucky for it. They feature blue things and flaming stuff. We could shoehorn in something about chocolate eggs, but that would be retarded.
Shadows of the Damned, developed by Suda 51 and Shinji Mikami’s Grasshopper Manufacture, releases for 360 and PS3 this summer.
